The Evolution Institute and United Way Suncoast jointly sponsored a unique professional development opportunity which featured researchers who advise the White House and other national leaders on child development and early childhood care and education policy.

Attendees learned from current research findings about stages of development in young children’s thinking, techniques for fostering children’s language and learning, state policies supportive of early learning, and how a neighboring state has made early learning a non-partisan issue.

This workshop presented educators with key findings from current research that can be translated directly into early childhood program practices, and state and local policy.
